New for 2011 the Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife is the flagship product in the new Survival Series of Gerber Knives.
The knife features a serrated high carbon stainless steel drop point blade which is ideal for cutting tough material like rope. An ergonomic textured rubber handle gives a comfortable and secure grip. The Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife features a unique textured pommel that can be used as a hammer.
The Ultimate Knife includes many features not found on most other knives including an Emergency Whistle, a Ferrocerium Fire Starter, and a Diamond Sharpener which is integrated into the sheath.
A pocket guide titled 'Priorities of Survival' accompanies the knife and contains Bear's survival essentials.
